The Palaces of Warsaw

Warsaw, Poland has an impressive collection of palaces that range in age and architectural style. Here are three of our favourites:

Zamoyski Palace
This palace began its original construction in 1735, but was bought by Constanty Zamoyski in 1799. For the next nearly 30 years, Constanty refurbished and redisigned the estate into what it is today. You’ll enjoy its classic gardens, Baroque architecture, and period furnishings.

Staszic Palace
One of the palaces with the oldest history, Staszic has its roots in 1620. It was then that a small chapel was commissioned as a a burial ground. In 1818, Stanis?aw Staszic bought and reworked the chapel into this imposing palace.

Ostrogski Palace
Now housing the Chopin Society, The Ostrogski Palace has passed through the hands of the government various dignitaries, and aristocratic families.
