Authentic Delhi Shopping
Join the bustling, noisy crowds at one of Delhi’s many street markets for a glimpse into everyday local life. You’ll find fragrant spices, exotic fabrics, and a myriad of interesting knick-knacks. Here are two of the biggest markets:
Chadni Chowk
Chadni Chowk, which means Moonlit Market, has been a thriving hub since 1650. This area of North (Old) Delhi features row upon row of food stands and confectioners.
Dilli Haat
A bit more upscale than Chadni Chowk, Dilli brings together approximately 200 vendors from all over India, rather than locals only. Enjoy the selection of sandalwood, handmade brassware, and ornaments of all kinds.
