Radium Beer Hall
Steeped in history, this bar first opened in 1929 and was used as a revolutionary hang out. Today people of all kinds come to Radium for a great pint and even better company.
Katzy’s at The Grillhouse
All Johannesburg locals know about Katzy’s, the cigar bar just steps away from the dining room of The Grillhouse. Here, the young professional set sips fine whiskies and cognac, while listening to the sounds of live piano.
The Bassline
Head over to The Bassline for some great Jazz, Afrobeat, Reggae, Hip Hop, and everything in between. Their lineup for April includes international and local artists that never fail to get the place jumping.

Grab a martini or frozen beverage and enjoy the clean, minimal atmosphere of Goldbar. If you can, try to stop by one of their events, such as art parties for the younger crowd. Oh, and if you’re hungry, they have a wonderfully eclectic menu.
