Beirut: What to Do
It’s time to re-visit Beirut, as this Lebanese city has impressively risen from the ashes in style. From international fine dining to a vigorous nightlife, this now-thriving downtown culture will please any crowd and any nationality.
Centrale Restaurant
Centrale features fine contemporary French dishes, in a minimal and subtly Japanese atmosphere. During the summer, be sure to try their delicious and unique tomato tart.
Casino du Liban
Head out of the city to enjoy Casino du Liban. Try your luck at their many exciting games, or just take in a show and dinner.
A Stroll on the Corniche
On cool evenings, especially on weekends, Beirut’s locals head for a relaxing walk on the Corniche.
The Roman Baths
Discovered in the 1960, this ancient ruin left by the Romans is a fascinating view into days past. Now the baths function as a park near the city square.
